Introduction - Stations of the Cross
Monday Mar 29, 2021
Monday Mar 29, 2021
Welcome to Stations of the Cross, a self-guided devotional opportunity prepared by youth from Swarthmore Presbyterian Church. In these last days of Holy Week, we hope this devotional opportunity may enrich your Holy Week reflections. Throughout these episodes, you'll hear our youth introduce the stations and prayers, and after a scripture reading, you will hear their reflections. Feel free to pause as you wish, as after the reflections, the youth offer questions to ponder on. Again, welcome all of you to Stations of the Cross.

Today's episode is the sermon titled, "What Kind of Savior Are You Looking For?" by Rev. Joyce Shin. The scriptural text is from Mark 14:1-15:15(NRSV). This episode was recorded for March 28, 2021. For our full service, check out our YouTube by searching "Swarthmore Presbyterian Church."
This Lenten season, from February 21 through March 28, our worship and preaching will focus on this very personal question, “When has my mind been changed?”. So often, our most heartfelt repentance, finding a new way to think and to behave that better honors God, our neighbor, and ourself, comes when we are willing to question previously held assumptions. Transformation occurs when we are willing to accept the possibility that our thinking and experience of God’s good world evolves. You are invited to this in a spirit of vulnerability, trusting that Christ is both the author of our grace and the momentum behind all loving and true transformation.
